Jason Lancaster has held his CISSP for 9 years and is an expert in network security. Jason has worked with large enterprises and service providers to secure their environments raging from secure network design to application level security implementing technologies such as firewall, VPN, and intrusion prevention systems (IPS). Jason has also provided assistance with audit and compliance for these organizations.
Jason Lancaster is Technology Director at TippingPoint where he has been for the past 7 years. He was one of the initial sales engineers at TippingPoint, where he focused on information security for the education, enterprise and healthcare verticals. He is currently responsible for the strategy, researching and testing of new IPS and emerging network security technologies. Currently much of his work is focused on securing virtual systems and networks and he regularly speaks on this and other security topics. Before joining TippingPoint, Jason was a Senior Security Engineer for HealthSouth Corporation and previously Jason spent several years working with clients providing network security solutions and performing security audits.
